Cheerilee was released together with the Popcorn Cart accessory playset.
The name Cheerilee has been previously used for a totally different pony, a unicorn, that was released only as a Styling Pony.
Cheerilee is based on a discontinued pony Cherry Blossom. Her colours are exactly the same and her symbol is modified, but is clearly similiar to Cherry Blossom's.
